Ever Wondered Who You Really Are?
Have you ever paused and asked yourself, “who am I really? Beyond the roles you play as a sibling, son, daughter, parent, partner, worker or colleague, who are you at your core? In a world that constantly tells us who we should be, it’s easy to lose sight of our true selves. Yet it’s often in those moments of disconnection, whether from life’s challenges, past trauma, or the everyday overwhelm, that we’re invited to ask: “What lies beneath the surface?”
Discovering that answer can be freeing, empowering, and deeply transformative and I would love to accompany you on this journey of self -discovery…
Hello, and a warm welcome to this deeply reflective and life changing course. My name is Kamarun Kalam and I am a Psychotherapist, Family Mediator, Author and Social Worker. I created this course because of how many people I see in therapy who have never asked themselves who they are and what they truly want in life. Some have lost themselves under roles and responsibilities others have in some way lost their identity or never truly discovered themselves fully. I am endlessly fascinated by the human experience in all of its dimensions, physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual.
I believe we are all part of one big human family and connected intrinsically, seeking love, belonging, acceptance, and validation. We are all unique and shaped by our life experiences, values, beliefs, and the many selves we embody over time. Who we were as teenagers, or even just a few years ago, is different from who we are today, and this evolution continues throughout life. Many factors impact on how our personality develops from our upbringing and parenting, to experiencing trauma, abuse, loss and joy. Each and every life experience on the timeline of your existence to date holds meaning for your character development. It is through exploring this timeline that we shall discover your narrative and life story thus far.
